Day 2: We spent at Austin's moms house playing with all sorts of inflatable obstacle courses, blow-ups, water-balloon contests and battles, and topped the night off with the Talent/Variety Show! Super fun day, so many smiles and competitiors, winners, not-so-winners and good sports all the same! #familytimeisthebestoftime!
Variety Show Time! Ben & Carli, and Cory with their kiddos first presented their family shields, and then we got swept away in a flood of awesome talent and creativity!
Grandpa has the coolest harmonica skills! He can play with no hands, and EVEN using just the blows from his nose! haha....He was playing all sorts of primary songs, and good old time songs we all love to hear him play!! What special talent the kids will remember forever! They all want to be just like him too, with their own harmonicas, trying to practice....someday, kiddos, maybe someday! ;)
The Heath girls did a cute Beauty and the Beast ballet song, where the boys came in and lifted the girls at the end, it was so darling!
Uncle Juan SURPRISED us all with HIS AMAZING nun-chuck skills! He must have been a former ninja-turtle somehow! It was awesome!
Ben and Carli wowed us with their SUPER IMPRESSIVE and AWARD-WINNING dance skills, set to the fun song, "Better When I'm Dancin" by Meghan Trainor, it was so fun, and they had the kids come join in! THE GIRLS LOVED THIS!! They all want to be just like Carli someday!! So cute!
Katelyn and Gracie performed a cute dance to "Sisters, Sisters," from White Christmas...it was so cute and they had worked so hard on it. My favorite was the part where they kick their feet back and up on the "uh-huh" part lol....so adorable!
Grandma AMAZED us with her blast-from-the-past clogging skills set to the Chadahuchi song....it was super fun to watch her feet go!! Yay grandma!
Jessica, Liz and Sarah whipped out a super impressive rendition of Alvin and the Chipmunks song of "Achy Breaky Heart" with Billy Ray Cyrus style too! It was full of personality and spunk! So fun! Loved seeing their smiles and sister-ness in action!
Jessica and Hadlie sweetened the show with a beautiful song of "I am a child of God." It was so tender and cute to see Miss Hadlie singing every word!! Darling!
Daddy breaking out his Mickey-Mouse, Donald Duck, and Bugs Bunny Impressions. The kids love these every time!
To finish it off, Austin and Liz performed the "Tutty Tah" Song with Grandpa! It was a hoot and so silly, the kids loved watching this too! Daddy, Nathan and Samuel all came up and sang an impromptu "Country Song Backwards" by Rascal Flatts, even though they hadn't even practiced. It was great to see Nathan being brave up there performing with the boys! Also, not pictured were Michael and his AMAZING french horn impressionation skills playing "The Taps" song for us and The Heath boys who performed a song/dance to the Warriors song. I also danced and song to the song by David Archuleta called, "Something Bout Love," too! We had fun preparing it and whipping out those dance moves and lifts (miss Gracies favorite part!)! Kimball also performed "The Fight Song," for us all with her big muscles, and Kimball and Katelyn both did a Skip-It number with their little skip-it jumpers too! They had both just learned this new skill only a week or two before the re-union! Yay for a fun night! Way to go family!
