It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas Lights on the Celina Square with Bethany and cousins including mini-train rides, reindeer, bouncy slide, craft and hot chocolate! Then, we had our primary kids sing for our Celina 2nd Ward Christmas Dinner, and fun moments at home playing together. We had the awesome opportunity to go to The Great Wolf Lodge with the Heath family and it was such a blast!! Waterslides for the big and littles, grown-ups too, and fun memories in our rooms with the cool bunk beds and lodge type feel. We all had such a fun time and the kids LOVED the surprise! Around Dec. 13th, I was able to go stay with my sister to help her as she prepared to welcome their first baby into the world! A couple days after I got there, we grocery shopped, and walked a lot, she went into labor in the middle of the night. When I got to the hospital in the morning with baby Makenzie as my side-kick, Sarah was still in labor and my mom and Russell's aunt was there too. About another hour or two in, sweet little Eve Aria arrived!! What a sweet little piece of heaven! It was a joy and blessing to be there with them for this special time! Once I got back to Texas, we went and sang Christmas Carols and the kids played their Christmas piano pieces at the Elderly Care Center in Celina for the 2nd year in a row. Soon after, we hosted Christmas Eve dinner with the Heaths, acted out the nativity story with cousins as per our tradition! Then, we enjoyed a wonderful Christmas day together, filled with fun surprises, family games, smiles and hearts warmed with the light and love of the greatest gift, even our Savior, Jesus Christ. What a matchless gift His life is for us and how grateful we are for Him. We love our Savior and our family. <3
