Making the Best of It! Lemons to Lemonade and Snow Mounds to Snowmen!
After Katelyn's injury (distol radial fracture) that occured Christmas evening 2015 as we were packing the van and preparing to head out on our drive to Utah for Aunt Sarah's Wedding, we were so amazed that she was so strong and such a trooper to last the entire ride to Utah (after icing it and Mom and Dad watching to see if it started to bruise and see how bad her fall really was and see how it felt after some icing and rest), we were so thankful to see her in smiles again with a bandaged up arm after taking her into the ER at Utah Valley Regional medical Center in Orem, UT! It was a good lesson for us all to remember to be careful and realize that even when life gives us lemons or hard times/challenges, we can make lemonade, or the best out of the situation! Here Miss K is making the very best out of her less than ideal fall incident! Love this girl! All her ants and uncles, grandmas and grandpas were so excited to sign her upcoming cast!!
We celebrated New Years with my mom, Terry and Sarah! Hooray! We were so glad and thankful to spend some time with Sarah and the kids were thrilled to go for Sarah propelled sled rides around the yard too! What a super fun Auntie! We love her!
And what would a fun snow day on the sled be like without a little hot tub time thereafter!!??! The kids thought jumping from the cld snow into the hot tub was the zingiest thing ever!! haha!
We all love Miss Gracie! (2 yrs)
To top off our snow experience, we even built an Olaf snowman! Yay for us! Yay for fun Utah times in the snow!
