March 9-14, 2016 Flying Solo...Trying to still have fun while Dad was away!

Thankfully, we had a fun cousin daytrip planned to a jumpy house place, KidZone, during our friends' Spring Break, while daddy was away! Our kiddos had such a blast with their close friends and cousins!

Katelyn decided to take it upon herself to finish her Math workbook, knocking 3 whole lessons out in one day, too, which meant I had to follow up on my deal that she could get a milkshake for finishing a workbook! woo hoo! Go Katelyn and yay for an awesome hard-working talented Math girl!!! This is one proud momma! :)

Joshua sure kept growing bigger and cuter! He enjoyed playing with his toys up in his high chair during our meals together.  What a sweet tender peaceful boy, we love him!

Uncle Austin offered to provide some of his superuncle/dad powers and watch not only his kids, but ours as well while Daddy was away for work, so I could go with Liz to our Relief Society meeting, where we had dinner and answered random questions to get to know each other, learning about how we can Live the Life you Love! It was a wonderful activity, I got to know lots of great sisters, eat yummy salad and be strengthened by the mothering reassurances of other ladies, Liz's parenting ideas in the parking lot after for over 30 minutes too! haha....It's so great to have each other as a support network and source of encouragement, idea bouncing and strength!  I came home with these alloons too, to make some planets out of embriodery floss....which we ended up making clay planet models instead!! The kids sure loved the balloons either way! I still have all the embroidery floss though, so I forsee another project in the future with them too!

Here's cute Nathan with his poor red eye from his trampoline injury.  Thankfully, it didn't impair his vision and he continued on as a happy camper anyway.  Love those smiles!

Here's Miss Katelyn, as bright-eyed, smiley and beautiful as ever!! Love that girl!

Yummy rewards for a notebook completed! Go Katelyn!

Our little Batman in training!! Love this sleeper from Grandma and Grandpa Ralph, matching with Nathan and the boys' blue Batman shirts from their February Valentines visit!

Katelyn discovered how much fun it is to fly Gracie up on her knees! They were laughing so hard and LOVED playing together! These sweet moments are what life and love are all about! It was a JOY getting to eatch them play so sincerely, funly and lovingly together! Love my kiddos!

On Thursday, a few days before Daddy came back, Liz and I took our oldest girls to a Mommy Daughter Date to go see the Texas Ballet Theater Cinderella Performance! It was so neat to see such talented dancers in a timeless story we all know and love! The girls thought the male wicked step sisters were so silly and they came home twirling and leaping, wanting to be just like the ballerina stars!

Afterwards, we let the kids play in the driveway for awhile.  They came up with some cool creations, including building some boat concoctions to ride themselves down the driveway! Super creative and super fun!

They all were so thrilled to be a part of those "boat" down the driveway rides!

Katelyn and Isaac enjoying their "boat" rides down teir driveway one Saturday afternoon! They are such great friends....so glad they have such a great relationship :) not to mention, awesome ingenuitive ideas tooo!!

I just adore watching this precious piece of heaven sleeping in my arms.  It is the sweetest thing to feel like I am cuddling a sweet little angel.  Love him!

I was so proud of myself! Here is what we had for dinner...haha...for three nights in a row!! Except, this was masterful left-overs repurposing if you ask me....haha...I made a HUGE pot of butternut squash soup on Sunday with ride, then we had it again for diner on Monday with chips this time, and then I revamped the extra butternut squash into a marinara spaghetti with leftover ravioli too! Haha...I was super impressed and proud of me getting through the week, keeping my needful meal-prep time to a minimum!
 Go leftovers!

Nathan getting in on the lifting over the legs fun!

These three!!! This was a magical moment I never want to forget, they were all getting along SOOOO well and having such a ball of a time! Love that they can be such great friends!  These are the moments we live for and make all the hard sleepless nights with a sick baby and worries and concerns for them soooo worth it in the end! I would do it all over again for the precious relationships that are forming along the way! Love these sweethearts!
