The day after we got home from Utah was Katelyn's Let's Play Music Recital Performance!! She is lucky she gets to do this with her cousin Andrew, and Isaac is in the class above her too, since he started the year before. We are grateful our cousins recommended such a wonderful musical learning and exposure program for our kids and we loved it! Katelyn worked so hard this year as she learned rhythm, tone and scale relationship recognition, the difference between baby steps, leaps, skips and the relationships of do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do with solfeg hand signs and more! We were so proud of Katelyn, Andrew and Isaac! We are excited for Nathan to start next year and for Katelyn to keep up her great love for music and learning to play the piano!! So EXCITED for them!!
She had such a great teacher, Ms. Michele!! We were so impressed by her ability to connect, enthusiastically teach and help each kid feel special and capable at becoming incredible musicians!!
Yay for our wonderful support groupd of family and extended extended family for the special night! Daddy, unforunately, had class, but we took lots of videos and told him all about it and Katelyn's special duet with Andrew near the end where they played the hardest fastest song on their bells together! We love learning, music and family! So proud of you Miss Katelyn!
