We are so thankful for our mothers and grandmothers in our lives who have sacrificed, taught us so many life and gospel lessons, patiently labored for, and loved us all throughout our lives! We were so glad to talk with them and honor our mothers on this special day!
I was so thankful that this year we had a new member in our family to celebrate it with! So glad little Joshua is here!! I couldn't be more happy and grateful to be a mom!! I am so thankful that I get to spend my days taking care of, feeding, doing laundry with, making meals with, scrubbing dishes with, sweeping and mopping up floors after floors of crumbs and dumped smoothies, rice pieces, and spilled accidents for, resolving conflicts with, teaching life skills to, reading books with, going to the libraries, zoo, and museums with, or even just pushing on the swings and teaching how to pump, jumping on the trampoline with, or riding bikes or rollerblades with, or playing sticky ball catch or four square, tennis, board games including Sequence, Skipbo, Memory, Ticket to Ride, Dominoes, or Guess Who with....all while teaching them to develop valuable life-long character traits like Respect, Honesty, Courage, Love, Unselfishness, etc. and most importantly teaching them about the gospel of Jesus Christ and how they can find their greatest source of strength, comfort, peace and guidance in Him and the Spirit!
I am so thankful for this season of our lives and thankful to God that I get to experience this challenges and joys of parenthood alongside my sweet husband, motherhood and lifelong learning with and from our dear children every single day!
Joshy with his eyes open!
I love each one of my sweet children for their smiles, unique personalities, and precious spirits sent from up above to bless our lives and bring us closer to our Savior!
These kiddos sure fill my days with excitement, energy, a little measure of craziness, and challenges that's for sure, but I love it so much because this work brings the most meaningful source of true fulfillment and pure joy than I have ever ever known.
I am so thankful for my husband who makes this all possible. I am thankful for his loving support for me in my role as a mother and for my choice to stay at home and teach, nurture and care for our little ones! I am thankful for the tender mercies from heaven that help us make it through on the hard days and give each of us extra measures of patience, long-suffering, joy in the journey and love! I am thankful for each of these sweet blessings from heaven and we are so excited for the wonderful people these cute little ones are becoming! We love them so much and are so proud of them! I am always the happiest mom in the world to have them in my arms!
Love tickling them and those adorable smiles!
Just so thankful for all the mothers, and grandmothers gone before us, and for their examples of love, and raising such wonderful families who knew to look to the Lord and the gospel of Jesus Christ to find their strength. :) I am so thankful everyday to be a mother and the highest, most important work I get to do in the home...nurturing, teaching, playing, loving and growing right alongside them! Love them so much!! I heard a quote once, that someone saw a mother with lots of kids surrounding her and said, "You sure got your hands full!" and she said, "If you think my hands are full, you should see my heart! :)" My heart is sure FULL of love for these special children of God, we have been so blessed to have been sent to our family! I have a heart for each one, bursting with love and joy for each of them! Happy Mother's Day!
